Dave Grohl has confirmed that the Foo Fighters have completed their latest album. During a recent concert in Tasmania, Grohl informed fans that new music is on the way and hinted at the band's return to Australia in the near future. He stated, "This won't be the last time you see us," indicating plans for a visit before his upcoming birthday on January 14.
The band is set to embark on a North American summer stadium tour, starting on August 4 in Toronto and concluding on September 26 in Las Vegas. Their previous album, But Here We Are, released in 2023, marked their first project following the passing of drummer Taylor Hawkins, with Grohl taking over drumming duties for this record. The band has since announced a new single titled ?Asking for a Friend,? which reflects themes of hope and perseverance.
The recent performance in Tasmania was significant as it was their first show there in over ten years and marked a poignant moment following Hawkins' death. Grohl expressed the band's special connection to Tasmania and Australia during the event.
Foo Fighters Las Vegas Concert reviews
THTribute Concert Tickets - No Luck. Still My Fav.
I am one of many that weren’t able to get tickets to the concert. I understand that The Forum is considered the Foos home venue; however, has there been any discussion to change the venue to a larger stadium? It seems very unfair that the UK fans get Wembley and the US fans get The Forum. I missed out on tickets by mere seconds because I couldn’t type my code in fast enough. Very disappointing. Especially for those of us that don’t live in the LA area (Native of Santa Barbara - Chris Shiflett can you hear me and feel my pain? Ha!). but am still willing to fly in and spend a few days. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Still hoping and dreaming of being able to attend.
